In 29 hours I move to Washington, D.C. - this time not just for a bit, but instead, this time, for real. I'm going to college, and I'm not ever going to really live here, in my parent's home, again. It's mind-boggling, and yet I'm so excited for it all to start (although, yes, I am just a little bit nervous, too).
Today Yesterday, I said good-bye to my grandmother. I went swimming with Karista at Franklin for probably the last time this year, and went bowling with Karista and Sarah at Thunderbird Alley (and I scored a 116 and a 100-something for my second round. I don't remember what it was exactly). I went to Leslie's luncheon yesterday afternoon, and saw Jaron, Alex, Les, Sarah, Charlotte and Carla. Two days ago I went to Kim's birthday party and watched March of the Penguins with her, and ended up participating in a bonfire. We had a horse-shoe cake, and ran into the hammock. I'm going to miss them so much. I already miss the others like crazy. And nevertheless, I'm still excited to leave. I can't wait.
This is How It Begins.
